I have worked with Sho Dozono on community outreach projects on many occasions over the past 7 years and have found him to be a real leader, as well as an internationally respected representative of Portland. I've been hoping he'd run for mayor for years!

In only 5 months of campaigning Sho Dozono received 54,532 votes for mayor last night. Sam Adams has been campaigning to be mayor for at least 4 years. I sincerely hope Sho runs again in the future. I voted for the best person last night and have no regrets.

As a member of Portland’s Native American community, I believe it’s important for our Mayor to understand the need to engage all communities in an honest, candid dialogue about the future of our city. Mayor Potter opened the doors to City Hall, and I know Sho will keep them open. I have found Sho to be a quiet, effective leader concerned only with the best interest of Portland and its citizens. He's not driven by his ego, and outside of the campaign trail, you'll never hear him boast of his 30+ years as a successful, innovative businessman and community activist. These are the reasons I’m supporting Sho to be our next Mayor.
